Kodaro is seeking a Customer Success Manager to support customers of our building analytics solution. The person in this role will ensure that everyone finds the success they’re looking for through our product, ultimately helping to maximize the value our platform brings to each unique user.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for guiding new projects from kickoff to project completion or for the duration of the customer engagement with Kodaro. The Customer Success Manager will be the primary contact for all new customers and will liaise with the analytics and software teams, sharing updates on how customers are using the products and any customization requests.

 

Many Kodaro customers maintain long-term engagements and in those instances, the CSM will remain the customer’s primary point of contact. For projects that have specific and limited scopes, the CSM will also remain that customer’s point of contact in case additional support and/or customization is required. This role is highly technical and requires a deep knowledge of commercial building equipment and controls. The CSM will also develop a deep understanding of Kodaro’s products, roadmap, and approach to data modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationship at every stage.

  • Develop and manage onboarding process.

  • Interpret and investigate building details (drawings, floorplans, etc.) ensuring accurate data modeling is achieved.

  • Review and commission analytics.

  • Customize reporting and analytics.

  • Ensure support is delivered in a timely manner.

  • Identify further customizations and improvements to the analytics product, based on customer interactions.

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.

  • Experience with HVAC equipment and controls.

  • Experience working directly with clients including building operators, contractors, and facility managers.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High levels of logical thinking & problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to organize tasks from multiple projects, deadlines and responsibilities.

  • Experience with commissioning/retro-commissioning a plus.

  • Programming/scripting experience in Python, Axon, R, Matlab or related a plus.
